Octopath Traveler 0 Is Coming This December

The final announcement of today’s Nintendo Partner Direct was the reveal of Octopath Traveler 0. The upcoming RPG launches on December 4 for Switch 2 and Switch, along with PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. 

The debut trailer sets the tone for the adventure while showing off the series’ trademark HD-2D graphics. The trailer’s description teases new features such as Path Actions, a system allowing for more varied interactions with characters, and a battle mechanic called Break and Boost. Another new feature is that players control a custom protagonist, who must rebuild their hometown following its destruction.
